Assisted Living - Dementia Care & Memory Loss

RiverMead provides care for those with Alzheimer's or related dementia in our specialized assisted living wing. Our Special Care Wing, offering 17 private rooms, is adapted to enable residents to maintain the highest functional level possible with assistance close at hand. Our goal is to provide peace of mind for the family and specialized care to loved ones who can no longer care for themselves.

Each room is equipped with a window seat, wall-to-wall carpeting and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a secure garden area where residents may come and go as they please. The sunroom with an aviary is a quiet place where residents can relax and visit with family and friends. RiverMead offers individualized social, physical and cultural activities and often welcomes family members to participate in special events.

Our unique approach to treating memory impairment combines professionally trained staff and a home-like setting to create choices, foster dignity and encourage meaningful independence in a secure environment.

At RiverMead you pay a one-time Entrance Fee and a Monthly Service Fee. Should you need additional assistance, 24-hour nursing care is available on-site at no increase to your monthly service fee.
