Eat well and enjoy life more! This simple philosophy guides how our award-winning chefs create the culturally and ethnically diverse menus that await you at RiverMead. We are so proud of dedicated, onsite food service professionals who provide all residents with the varieties of cuisine they like most.

Our dining venue options suit every style and taste. Choose from exquisite private dining and fine bistros to casual café style. You can get “take out” too. Our take out options let you take our fine cuisine anywhere. All this comes to you with the type of hospitality you would expect. Included in your fee is one meal a day at the dining venue of your choice, lunch or dinner.

Dining at The Mead Neighborhood

Hearth Room – a cozy spot where one can grab a cup of coffee and read the newspaper or visit with other residents. Pastries are served every morning, and coffee, tea and cappuccino are served throughout the day free of charge. In the evening prior to dinner, the hearth room becomes a social gathering place. Some of our residents enjoy cocktails when it suits them and private liquor lockers are available for this purpose. Note that all venues are BYOB.

Bistro – casual, buffet-style dining with daily menu changes. The Bistro is a great place to grab a sandwich, hamburger or to order a full-course made-to-order dish.

River Room – features daily chef’s specials and delicious standard fare choices like seafood, steaks and salads and various gourmet creations.

Hibachi – Asian fusion cooking comes to life before your eyes as you sit around a hibachi table where the chef prepares your meal right in front of you!

Dining at The Village Neighborhood

The Village Pub – features an open hearth pizza oven and plenty of social space with BYOB liquor lockers. Pastries are served every morning, and coffee, tea and cappuccino are served throughout the day free of charge.

Flavors Grill – features Conscious Cuisine. Lunch and dinner are served daily with soups, salads and chef’s creations hot off the grill. This venue is relaxed and casual featuring a buffet, the Garden Room and an outdoor patio.

Take Out and Delivery Service Available

All dining venues in both The Mead and The Village provide take out and delivery for the evening meal. Simply call ahead to order from the diverse menu choices and then pick up your basket at 5pm.
