The Western New Hampshire Walk to End Alzheimer's

Earlier this month, we sponsored the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer's - Western New Hampshire. The walk included 364 participants over 64 teams. The successful event raised over $75,000 to advance the fight to end Alzheimer's Disease.

The Alzheimer's Association was founded in 1980 by caregivers and individuals interested in the research. The association has since expanded with offices in Chicago, Washington, DC, and a presence in communities nationwide.

The group addresses the Alzheimer's crisis by providing education and support to the millions of people and families affected by the disease and advancing research for the prevention, treatment, and, ultimately, a cure.

A valuable asset they provide to those affected is their free 24/7 helpline (800.272.3900), which is staffed by clinicians and specialists providing information and support to those who need it.

We are proud to have had over forty residents and staff sign up to support the RiverMead Team!
