Upcoming Resident Programs at RiverMead

RiverMead’s newly appointed programming team has been busy planning trips, events, and excursions for the new year. The programs have been planned to provide residents with enhanced educational and recreational opportunities that they typically would not participate in if they were living on their own.

Within the first quarter of the year alone, residents will have access to dozens of expertly planned events and excursions. One exceptional mini-course being offered is Plagues Past: Lessons for the Present, presented by a RiverMead resident, Dr. Stephen Gehlbach. The programming team is also offering access to a course through the Cheshire Academy for Lifelong Learning (CALL) titled Down These Mean Streets: The History and Development of the Detective Story. The CALL educational program is unique in that it is designed and aimed at seniors and retirees.
