Richard Schimpf is RiverMead’s Director of Culinary Services. Richard is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in 1996, where he obtained an Associate’s degree. He later attended the University of Massachusetts, earning a bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Administration. Richard has had several roles in the dining industry, from working for the parent company of Olive Garden and Red Lobster, to larger restaurants. Before he transitioned to Unidine, Richard worked for Sodexho. Richard enjoys bringing local ingredients from local farms to our table.
