Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Nursing Neighborhoods

woman sitting with flowerbasket at RiverMead Memory Support - specialized care for memory loss - and Nursing Care are right here on our campus and always available. Fully staffed, 24 hours a day with a professional nursing team that includes RNs, LNAs and resident companions.

RiverMead has assisted living neighborhoods on both campuses. Assisted living apartments are designed for residents who need some support with daily living but still wish to maintain a certain level of independence. The apartments are spacious with lovely views. They feature a living room, kitchenette, bedroom and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. Three meals a day are freshly prepared and served waited style in the dining room. There are common areas to gather and visit with friends and family along with a team of activity coordinators who plan for recreation and excursions.

Within our Memory Support Neighborhood are specially designed spaces and accommodations for residents with memory loss or dementia. This neighborhood is warm, welcoming, and inviting. Appointed with beautiful fireplaces in the common spaces.

The specialized training of our caregivers provides comfort and support to our residents dealing with memory loss as well as their family members.

If ever necessary, our Health Center residents receive 24-hour nursing care in a private room with a private bathroom in this specialized neighborhood.

RiverMead is about having choices

CHOICE is an important element of the RiverMead community, and that comes in many forms.  It may be found in a variety of residences, the varied floor plans, delicious dining options, or a full range of activities for any interest, lifestyle, or ability.  Residents don’t come to RiverMead to “retire”, but to live full and active, involved lives, secure in the knowledge that they have a home for a lifetime.
