Meet our Culinary Supervisor, Katie Whitaker

Hello! My name is Katie Whitaker. I have been here at RiverMead for almost eight years. I am a culinary supervisor, which means I help manage staff and ensure operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. I earned my bachelor’s degree in creative writing from SNHU while working here at RiverMead.
This was my first ever job. I started as a busser and worked my way up to supervisor over the years that I have been here. I love writing, reading, and I do crochet. This job has given me so many great opportunities, and the career development has made me want to continue working here, and it has allowed me to develop my skills to get where I am today.
