At RiverMead, it’s About the Residents and the Community
RiverMead is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community. What does that really mean? First, we advocate for and facilitate an enriched senior lifestyle, with cultural and educational opportunities for all residents. Secondly, we strive to provide high-quality, holistic lifecare programs and healthcare services in a financially responsible manner. Finally and importantly, we provide a positive, safe and supportive work environment in serving these commitments.
Quality and Excellence
We strive to provide best-in-class facilities and services for every category of independent and assisted living available anywhere in New England.
Honesty, accuracy, transparency and thoroughness are guiding principles behind every aspect of work at RiverMead, from how we communicate with each other to how we manage our organization and care for residents.
Sound Financial Management
RiverMead is financially responsible and beholden to our residents and community. As an enterprise-class organization, we manage our finances according to the highest standards of fiscal responsibility and business continuity.
Respect for Self and Others
We require all our team members to honor themselves and their fellow employees by exhibiting respect and kindness to every resident and coworker they encounter throughout the day.
RiverMead is situated in a beautiful valley along the Contoocook River, one of New Hampshire’s protected waterways. All of our buildings and grounds are designed to meet the most stringent environmental protection standards for a residential facility. The property’s natural beauty speaks for itself.
New ideas and approaches are welcomed and often implemented. We encourage our team members to offer ideas and solutions to any challenges they experience, and we’re committed to investing in changes that will keep making life better at RiverMead.
RiverMead is a welcoming and nurturing community for people of all backgrounds. We strive to be proactive in seeking talent from diverse communities to maintain a vibrant and inclusive workplace.
Teamwork and Collaboration
Our culture fosters collaborative relationships from the first conversation in an interview to the retirement celebration of a long-cherished team member. Working together to help our residents and each other rules the day at RiverMead.
When work stops being fun, it’s no longer part of a fulfilling career. That’s why we make work life enjoyable at RiverMead. Whether it’s the premium facilities & employee amenities or the friendly, jovial attitudes of our entire staff, we want you to enjoy your time here.
RiverMead’s rich history spans about three decades. In 1993, a group of local residents came together with a vision of creating a community that would provide a comfortable and fulfilling lifestyle for seniors in the Monadnock region. After years of planning and construction, RiverMead opened its doors in the mid-1990s.
Over the years, RiverMead has expanded its campus to include a range of living options, throughout its 96-acre campus. This includes independent living apartments, cottages and villas as well as assisted living and memory support residences. Today, RiverMead is proud to be one of the premier continuing care retirement communities in New Hampshire, offering a vibrant and engaging lifestyle for seniors.
