RiverMead is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community. What does that really mean? Our History

RiverMead’s rich history spans about three decades. In 1993, a group of local residents came together with a vision of creating a community that would provide a comfortable and fulfilling lifestyle for seniors in the Monadnock region. After years of planning and construction, RiverMead opened its doors in the mid-1990s.

Over the years, RiverMead has expanded its campus to include a range of living options, throughout its 96-acre campus. This includes independent living apartments, cottages and villas as well as assisted living and memory support residences. Today, RiverMead is proud to be one of the premier continuing care retirement communities in New Hampshire, offering a vibrant and engaging lifestyle for seniors.
